Have you taken control of your Place Page on Facebook?

There are thousands of potential customers possibly checking into your company’s place page on there mobile phone. This page that you may not know that Facebook has automatically created for you.  Let me show you how to take control of this Place Page and the potential customer stream it could bring to your business.

Let’s say you own a Restaurant, well call it Baby Rays BBQ. You have an extensive menu, mouthwatering ribs and the best tea on this side of the valley.  Every day you have fifty customers coming in to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. Now imagine all of these customers are going to “Check In” Facebook Places on their mobile phone.

They come into your restaurant to enjoy your down home BBQ, and at the same time the customers are getting on their mobile devices and will “Check In” your Facebook place page. Every time a customer checks in to your place, all of their friends are viewing what’s being posted. Now let’s say 12 out of the fifty have 5 friends that decide to check out Baby Rays BBQ, you now have 60 new customers coming to your restaurant to try out your mouth watering ribs, and to “Check In” to your Facebook Place page. There are many Facebook places that have not been claimed, yet they have hundreds of people that did “Check In’, so claim your place now.

Here’s step by step how to claim your place on Facebook.

 

Step 1: To claim your Place, search for your business name on Facebook in the normal Search bar.

If your business’s Place already exists on Facebook, click on it to visit its page.

Step 2: At the bottom left side of your Place you may see a link that says “Is this your business?” Click on the link and a pop up will show.

Step 3: Check the box and click continue with verification

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Then you will be asked to verify that you are the owner through a phone verification processor you may be asked for document verification.

 

Now you will be able to administrate your Place on Facebook. You can add pictures of the atmosphere, food and people in your place of business. You can even add a menu, hours of operation and products you sell.
