László Kondor photo and art bring an honest look to the human side of war for both the Vietnam and US Forces, a very hard thing to capture.
An immigrant to the United States, László was born in 1940 in Fugyivasarhely, Hungary.
By the age of thirty, an American citizen, László enlisted in the army where he served his adopted country with distinction in Vietnam from 1970 to 1971 as both as a combatant and as a Combat Photographer in the DASPO [Department of Army Special Photographic Office].
His photographic record of that war continues to be acclaimed and examples of his work are to be found in the National Veteran Art Museum and other museums and galleries, as well as private collections, not only within the United States but also throughout Europe.
