Many of us have pride of our US Heritage and want to show the world through our Art and Design. Many of my designs require placement of the US Flag in the design. Not a bad way to fill out a form!

Getting your customers to fill out your companies form can be a pain. fillanypdf.com has a found a way to possibly make that easier for you. Still in Beta, you can easily upload your form and fill it out yourself or send a link for your customer to fill in the form. They can then save it, print it, or email it back to you. You can type, comment, add a link and draw. If you register for free you can also digitally sign and add images and icons. What could be easier!

I was afraid that the company would put their logo on the newly saved form, but to my surprise it came back ad free.

I would recommend this for any of my customers to try. How is this web software working for you?

Easy file sending solutions

I make no bones about it, I dislike yousendit.com. Not the technology, but the thought that you would pay (or with ads) for uploading and downloading large files. Most don’t realize that you can easily do this yourself with your own website.

You can upload large files using free FTP software, like filezilla, then copy and paste a direct link from your website. You can also have a web master create an upload page for your company’s website, like the one my clients at Print Center AZ have setup. http://printcenteraz.com/upload_new.html

I have realized over the years, many business owners do not have the time to learn these techniques themselves.

Although still in BETA, isendr.com has created a simple (and free!) web application to use. This web program creates a simple upload and link that your clients can download from their email. A very simple and elegant way to handle these kinds of transactions.

Here is some great free advice for an aspiring graphic artist. Why pay for photos when you can get some for free.

I have been using sxc.hu for over 5 years now and its the first place I look to find the perfect photo a client or friend may need for their project. I personally have downloaded hundreds of high resolution photos from this site for my work. Have I always found what I was looking for? No, but it was always a great starting point to give me an idea of what I really needed.

Now pay attention to their Term of Use as some photographers who have contributed will ask that you acknowledge them in your work.
